How we work!
Capolah works through the local church, bringing hope to places where hope has been lost, shining light of Christ in dark places. We work through donors, well wishers and volunteers, helping this ministry to reach many children that are in really need of help and support.
We work with very needy children!
Our History
Capolah was founded through a local church, when our CEO Cassidy Benavides interacted with orphans near the church who could not afford to be in school because of school fees, had no food and they were in very poor health. The orphans had dropped out of school, just doing manual labour for daily survival, she felt , that there was something she could do help, and that is how Capolah was founded in the year 2022. Now Capolah works with over 3 churches in western Kenya, working with orphans, children from poor families supporting them to go to school, access food, and health support and above hear about Jesus, who is the giver of Hope.

Real life stories transformed !

After I completed my class eight exams at Mariaini primary, I passed very well. I was position 1 with 377 marks out of 500. Despite my good performance, my future looked bleak. I did not know if I would get a chance to further my studies because of the poor situation at home. I was informed about Kiroko Foundation, and I decided to try my luck and by Gods grace I was enrolled in the sponsorship program. Kiroko Foundation paid my high school fees and today, I have completed my high school education at Chania Boys. I’m patiently waiting for my results and very certain that my future and that of my family will be much better. Thank you, Kiroko Foundation.

My name is Mwangi Victor. I am at Kiaguthu Boys Secondary School and headed to form three. I come from a very needy background because my parents are small-scale farmers who cannot afford my school fees. I did very well in my primary exams, but my parents could not afford school fees for my high school. Kiroko Foundation stepped in to pay for my school fees and I am headed to form three in one of the best schools in Murang’a country. I thank Kiroko Foundation for their support this far and promise to work had and uplift my family and the community.

When my K.C.P.E results came out, I was the top of my school, and I was among the best in the County. I was given an admission letter to one of the best schools in the country- Chania High School but unfortunately my parents could not afford it. It was painful to see my mother shed tears because she could not afford to take me to high school. My mother approached Kiroko Foundation and my request for scholarship support was accepted. Today, I am headed to form two and I can’t thank God enough for this intervention. Thank you, Kiroko Foundation, for stepping in. My future looks bright.

The resource center that was established by Kiroko Foundation at Mariani primary has impacted our community very positively. It is a great joy to see high school students and members of the community streaming into the resource center to study and get informed. That means in the next few years the community will be more knowledgeable and informed.
